Privacy Policy

How Good Roots Digital collects, uses, protects, and discloses personal information when you visit our website or work with us.

Effective Date: September 27, 2026

1. Introduction

Good Roots Digital is operated by Kevin Pflug, a sole proprietor. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and disclose personal information when you visit our website, contact us, book a consultation, or communicate with us.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, industry, primary area of interest, appointment details, and inquiry messages that you voluntarily submit through our contact form or consultation booking form. When you choose to opt in to SMS communications, we may also retain your consent selection and related records.

When you submit a form or book a consultation, our website transmits that submission — along with basic technical details needed to process the request, such as the page URL, your browser's user agent, device type, and time zone — to our service provider for delivery and follow-up. Our website's source code does not include Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta/Facebook Pixel, advertising trackers, or application-set cookies or browser storage. See Section 7 for details.

Our website also offers an optional SMS opt-in chat widget powered by HighLevel/LeadConnector. If you choose to use this widget, we may collect your name, phone number, message or inquiry, and your SMS consent selection. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and, where you have expressly opted in, send consultation confirmations, appointment reminders, and inquiry-related follow-ups by text message. We may retain records of your consent and communications.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information you provide to respond to inquiries, schedule and manage consultations, provide requested information and services, maintain customer relationships, operate and secure our website, and meet applicable legal obligations.

We may send consultation confirmations, appointment reminders, and inquiry-related follow-ups by text message only where appropriate SMS consent has been obtained.

4. SMS Communications

Good Roots Digital operates an optional informational SMS program for people who expressly opt in. Messages may include consultation confirmations, appointment reminders, and follow-ups related to their inquiries.

Message frequency varies according to your interactions with us. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. You may also contact hello@goodrootsdigital.com or +1 631-646-2711.

Consent to receive text messages is not required to purchase our services or submit a general website inquiry. Simply providing a phone number on a contact or booking form does not automatically enroll you in SMS communications.

We do not currently operate a promotional SMS program. If we introduce one, we will establish the appropriate separate consent process before sending marketing messages.

5. Mobile Information and SMS Consent

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

6. Service Providers

We may use service providers to operate our website, manage appointments, process communications, and support our business. These providers may process information on our behalf for those purposes, subject to applicable safeguards. Our restrictions on sharing mobile information and SMS consent remain in effect.

Our contact and consultation booking forms use HighLevel/LeadConnector to process submissions, route your inquiry to our team, and manage appointments and related follow-up. Information you submit through those forms is transmitted to HighLevel/LeadConnector for those purposes.

7. Cookies and Analytics

Based on inspection of this website's source code, it contains no Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta/Facebook Pixel, advertising trackers, or application-set cookies or browser storage. The website does not set cookies or use local or session storage in your browser.

When you submit a contact form or book a consultation, the information you enter is transmitted to our service provider to process your request; that transmission may include basic technical details such as your browser type, device type, and time zone. Our service provider may use standard technical measures on its own systems to operate and secure those requests.

Backend infrastructure cookies, hosting logs, and CDN-level analytics have not been verified and may be used by our hosting and service providers to operate and secure the website. Because no tracking cookies are used within this site's source code, there are no advertising cookies for you to opt out of here. You can still control or clear cookies generally through your browser's settings; refer to your browser's help documentation for details.

8. Data Security and Retention

We use reasonable measures designed to protect personal information. We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, subject to applicable legal requirements. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure.

9. Your Privacy Choices

You may contact us at hello@goodrootsdigital.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements. You can opt out of SMS communications by replying STOP.

10. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed toward children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The effective date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent revision.
